About Us

Davenport IT isn't a company started out of a parent's garage.  Sorry, too cliché.  We started in the study, a sensible and warm place to work - with more plug sockets...

Back in 1992, trading under the name of Redline Computing, we started-out selling personal computers when it was profitable to self-assemble.  Now with the likes of Tesco and Asda selling computers, those days are long gone.

Thankfully, the world of Information Technology is a constantly evolving place, and we've been evolving with it.

Now as Davenport IT, we specialise in a number of different areas:

    • We have a support package to suit you.  Personal or business, contractual or Pay As You Go.  Online or on the phone, (here in the UK).  We've got you covered.

  • Disaster Recovery

    • When it all goes wrong, we get you back in business in the quickest time possible.  Hardware, software, premises, and your data, up and running and ready to go.

  • Backup strategy (& offsite storage)

    • Your data is important, you need it safe and you need it accessible.  With correct backup strategy, secure online synchronisation, and physical pickups for offsite storage.  You will not lose your data.  You just won't.

  • Technology reseller

    • Yes, we still sell PC's, but we don't build them anymore.  We simply buy lots at a time and receive a bulk discount, which we happily pass on to you, our customer.  Of course, we are happy to customise for you… just like the old days.
